kirby salesmen

I just started a new job selling Kirby vacumes for V III inc. on Braudway. Just woundering if anybody has ever done that kind of work and does it pay was well as they say or is it all bullshit?

I used to work for rainbow and yes, you CAN make a lot of money doing that. But you have to be a real piece of shit to be successful. Seriously, everyone that I worked with including the owner was a toolbag-in-a-halfshell.

edit- and Rainbow > Kirby

lol thanx man…I duno I think I would do good at this…Im super friendly, Im awsome with people, and I’ve been told I can sell aluminum siding to a person with a brick house soo lol.

oh…and Kirby> rainbow IMHO. Ive used both…I like the Kirby much more.

inb4hotrodkid

didn’t he sell kirby’s at one time?

dude ur killing me. as long as they dont have u fill out any forms…

good luck with new job, save ur money.

rainbows … but lack of quality transportation owned me

and yes, rainbow > kirby

my family owns a kirby, and my rainbow got a TON of extra shit out of the carpet

ive never met a kirby salesman that made good money without slaving like he was working a plantation, but atc systems has a GREAT pay plan

Yeah they provide all the transportation…they set up the appointments and drive me there, i do the 1 1/2 hr demo and go to my nect appointment. So thats good cuz it saves me gas. The incentive plan is wicked awsome. Its $1800 a month base pay. You have to do 56 demos a month (every 30 days) to get the base pay. so if you sell none u still get money, but say i sell 4 of em in a week…thats around a $1000 check, depending on what if any bonuses I get with the particular sale.

56 demos a month? Holy shit. Good luck with that. That doesn’t sound very easy.

im not getting into this, ive had this discussion before

the rainbow deal > the kirby deal, but only if your willing to set your own appointments and be responsible for earning your own money … kirby just blankets a neighborhood and hopes for the best

When all is said and done, you are still a vacuum cleaner salesman. If that doesnt bother you then hey, bust a nut.

and oh yea, worst case senario, asuming you actualy know how to do in home sales, 56 demos at rainbow would earn you $2800 minimum (all B deals)

56 demos @ rainbow, assuming 50% “A” and 50% “B” deals would be in the region of $5200 for the month

and considering you get $100 for each rainbow one of your recruits sells, the more good dealers you bring into the biz, the more extra money you make

one of the dealers from olean makes $1000 a week … selling only ONE rainbow … because the entire olean team was recruited by her

well if it doesnt work out then ill find another job. lol…Pass McGrass, I sold teddy bears from a kiask at the mall, worked in factories, hell i turned apples on a conveyer belt…this is a cake walk.

Hahhaha that’s because they’re called Rainbow and they suck well, huh? :mamoru:

LMFAO

Good luck!!

Give it a shot, you’ve got nothing to lose!

Good luck with the job! A job’s a job… as long as you make money.

My brother in law did the Kirby thing for about a month. At first he bought into their whole brainwashing and thought he was going to be rich. Selling $1500 vacuums in WNY when you can go to BJ’s and get $400 Dyson that works just as well is a real tough sell. Even if the Dyson lasts 5 years, and the Kirby 15, I can still buy almost 4 Dyson’s for the cost of one Kirby. And who knows what kind of advancement will be made in vacuum technology 5 years from now.

I did it for about 6 months, Cantsay I really enjoyed it but I did learn alot. 56 demo’s is alot in 30 days trust me. People think its easy but it really isn’t. Some people have the knack for it and come natural.

My parents had a Rainbow and it worked awesome.

As for 56 demos in a month… damn…
That’s a lot of repetative speeches to give in a month. I think I’d grow tired of it in .5 days.

Good luck.
