this is how shit went down
Krazyjon vs. bestbuy
So here is the story.
5:00pm – walk into best buy with my dv camcorder and laptop. The camcorder needs a new battery and the laptop is going to be returned with the no-lemon-law thingy with the psp program.

I walk up to the “geek squad” where I am greeted by a 5’2” 17 year old kid. I think to myself, great, this should be fun…
So I explain whats going on with the dv camera… and he stares at me with a blank face… so I say “here is to cord, you try to get it to take a charge” – so he tries and cant.
5:30pm - now and I give them my phone number to look up my psp for the camcorder. Of course he cant find it. He looks for like 10 min and then calls over the manager who finds it in like 2 min. good help must be hard to come by these days…
5:45pm – I start to tell him about the laptop issue and how its always the same thing, the power socket on the motherboard is jacked. Again a blank space look. I proceeded to give him the power cord and he tries to turn on my laptop… complete idiot. But whatever.
6:00pm he decides that my laptop is messed up and tells me to go take a look for a new laptop. I tell him that I just want a store credit because I want to buy one online, a laptop that they don’t have in the store…
6:10pm – I go over to customer service and tell her the story about not wanting a new laptop because there selection sucks and I want to buy it online. Her response – “its our store policy that we cant give out store credit” I was like are you kidding me. And I walked out.
6:30pm – I went to the mall across the street and called up best buy customer service… blabbed to him about what happened and that im a huge customer bla blab la and he tells me that it’s the stores discression about how to handel the situation
flash back a week earlier – on the phone with best buy.com and they tell me “sure, they will just give you a store credit, you don’t have to buy a laptop with that money”
6:45:pm I tell the customer service guy that and he repeats that it’s the discursion of the store manager. I say thanks and hang up. I walk by the food court, pick up some sushi and leave.
7:30pm driving home and it hits me. What if I go to best buy, take a “trade in laptop” and return it. What could they say? Lol (jon turns around the car)
8:00pm I get back to best buy and the girl that was helping me was still there. I tell her that I want to take the trade. She says to go take a look at the laptops
8:05pm – I tell her that the laptop selection sucks and I still don’t want one. BUT I tell her “I know that its all a numbers game. How about I buy a new laptop with my “psp credit” and return it to another best buy.” She laughs and calls her boss.
8:10pm he laughs and says lets go pick out a laptop
8:25pm I leave best buy and start to make my way to the Princeton, nj best buy.
9:30pm I arrive there. Holy shit its pimp. They have 3 home theater rooms with the most redicious plazmas with people there looking like billionares buying them…
9:31pm – I walk up to customer service and say “ I would like to return this for store credit”
9:32pm – customer service girl calls manager, manager says sure just give him store credit
9:34pm I finally have a fucking best buy credit.
9:45pm – I walk around best buy looking at all the rediciously bling media rooms. Wow I want one sooo badd.
9:46pm leave for home
9:50pm call howie and he tells me that he is “shaving private ryan”
11:10pm get home
