I’m honestly starting to think none of you have seen the 40 mil film in person and have only seen/used the 20mil film which is what most people probably order from them as they are getting the film for looks.

Do you fuckers understand how thick it is? It should absolutely be able to take a decent sized pebble. Unless you’ve used the 40mil version they have, STFU. It’s probably the same thickness, if not a little less, of plexi which was suggested in earlier posts.

Regardless, it probably wasn’t caused by a rock. They are saying thermal shock. Why all of a sudden these fogs cracked due to thermal shock when my previous sets of fogs DIDN’T crack for MONTHS (they cracked from rock chips) is beyond me. I’m not running super hot bulbs. Just your basic fog light bulb. During the install, you spray both sides of the film since it absorbs water. I’m wondering if this ability to absorb shit has anything to do with this ‘thermal shock’ they claim. Or maybe their product just sucks like I said in my original post? I guess we’ll never know.

Here’s another thing involving the thermal shock. You’re using a thicker film this time. The thicker it is, the more heat it’ll hold in. Think of it as insulation. So it holds more heat inside than your previous films, and then you hit a puddle enough to instantly make your stupid hot foglight lens instantly cool down to almost ambient. That’s the only conclusion I can develop from this.

Yes actually, it was better than a brush guard. I actually rear ended a bus full of nuns at 80mph and there was NO damage to my car.
