Larger front sway increases understeer?

If I had a penny for every time you said the word ignorance/ignorant…

My excuse is I can’t afford to track it, if that’s an excuse at all?

yeahhh, there quite lame but entertaninging to say the least:happy:

:up:up

There’s even more fail on this page then on the last one.

good thing i didn’t contribute

Repeat this: “I was wrong. I cant talk my way out of it. I dont understand how sway bars work.”

Do what this guy says and /thread.

I never said any of this, why am i always brought up when i dont care. Sway bar in front is 25.4 mm rear was 14mm now 21mm.

NO! Why would he do this? There are several variables to consider before dumping $$$$. Just because they make parts does not mean you NEED parts. What he needs to do is drive the car first and see how it reacts then make adjustments accordingly.

Edit: and anyways, you were not “partially right”. You were referring to a Honda platform when you made these allegations. Adding a front sway bar WILL theoretically increase understeer. If the car dramatically oversteers a front swaybar will help balance it out more, but NOT by adding MORE oversteer like you claimed.

While we’re talking in real general blanket terms, be aware of “balancing” out your suspension by adjusting one end of the car. Are you adding grip to the end that needs it, or taking away grip from the end that already has it so that it feels “balanced”?

You girls need to stop being little bitches. Caz was more wrong than he was right… No technicalities there. And even on Subaru’s, a larger front anti-roll will USUALLY increase understeer. Quit yer bitchin and go to a track to really tell if either mod made a difference.
