with regards to baseball(babe ruth & mickey mantle) you got the single best players of all time in each of the 4 major sports.

jordan is cool, but Lemieux kicked the NHL’s ass, bankruptcy’s ass, cancer’s ass, konawalchuk’s ass (in the olympics), the hart trophy’s ass, the record book’s ass, every nhl goalie’s ass…i could go on for hours
i dont think lemieux gambled his money away and then went to whatever team that would take him to make some cash at the end of his career either. plus i bet Lemieux is a better baseball player :finger:

not only that. lemieux is ONE of the few players that play for the love of the game, not the money. The sacrifices he made to keep hockey in Pittsburgh alone are many

jordan might be a better over all better physical specimen but lemieux played a lot of games where he couldn’t tie his own skates and still dominated more so than jordan did the NBA.
