How many miles were on it when you bought it?
If it had more than 18k miles or had been delivered to the original owner 24 months prior to when you bought it, then it’s under used car lemon law. Here’s some reading:
http://www.oag.state.ny.us/consumer/cars/usedcarlemon.pdf
Take note that if the mileage was between 18,001 and 36,000 miles then your lemon warranty lasted 90 days or 4,000 miles.
If the car had less than 18,000 miles AND was less than 24 months old when you bought it then it qualifies under new car lemon law.
However, you’re probably boned regardless since you modified the software to allow the car to make more boost than the factory settings. It doesn’t really matter that it was done at the dealer. You really don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting the car lemoned.
I’m pretty sure you told me you red line your car every day.
All good points so far about the warranty. Seeing that you had somewhat erratic oil pressure, I bet the oil pressure sending unit is leaking. They can leak a shitload one day & be dry the next. As far as the SES lite, well, that’s another story. Any modifications & the dealer can & will void the warranty. I worked @ Chevy and Buick dealerships for over 20 years as a tech & service manager & saw it happen many times. Don’t give them a reason to void the warranty cuz they will do it.
Good luck.
you blew up your audi’s clutch in under 1000 miles. that doesnt give you room to talk.
I’m going to print the contents of this thread, and print pictures of you beating on your car at the track days and bring them to the VW dealership
i’m going to enjoy watching you try to prove that it is my car or me driving it.
dont you have someone to scam or an integra to blow up?
LOL? Who did I scam? and what integra did I blow up? Please explain to me.
And who the hell are you to even say something like that?
That was a joke that you seemed to take a little too far.
have you seen the rest of this thread? i’m a bit annoyed people cant grasp certain things.
VWOA allows APR parts to be used on a car and void absolutely nothing if installed at the dealership.
VWOP knows i tracked the car. i was there the day before and the day after to make sure everything was perfect. i offered to pay out of pocket for any damage that occured from track day. they said everything was fine.
nobody reads anymore.
Well I’m sorry the internet is hurting your feelings, but please don’t accuse me of things such as scamming a friend of mine. Thanks
I’m pretty sure you’re full of shit.
Nice try though.
