Let's see a laser cut this...

Walker, just send me a rubbing of it and I will make the file.

The latest tool in the arsenal. Since I bought the most powerful model I need to run 220 to it. It is also the largest model, I can engrave 40" x 20". Let me know what you need customized, etc. Your imagination is the only limit. I can engrave anything from apples to apple products. (iphones etc)

And of course the roller attachment to engrave your favorite logo, etc. on your beer glass.

neat toys!

#44

It is pretty neat, I am going to cut out my tombstone on the waterjet then engrave a photo of me on it with the laser.

#45

Nice!

#46

I have the smaller version of that in my classroom

Where did you order it through?

#47

Jeff at Class Act Engraving.

#48

Ah nice, using CorelDraw?

#49

First try… this is serious business. (Didn’t realize there was varnish, a little bit well done.)

We had some training today and made some samples. It is pretty neat to think of the thousands of applications for laser engraving.

I could cut out titanium NYSPEED key chains on the waterjet then engrave them with the laser.

#51

Woah I want that! How many would you need to make to make it worth while to you?

#52

www.laserbits.com

That’s the site I do my purchasing through. You won’t find cheaper sheets of acrylic or laserable media.

Here is a sneak peak at the new toy that just arrived…

It is a CTX800TC. I am pretty excited about this one because it is a full 5 axis machine with a loader and loader system so we can run “lights out” or unattended.

#54

Here is a picture of the sexy part. I got this in last week to avoid taxes… like Trump.

#55

Belongs in here somewhere:

#56

Is that HAL9000?

#57

Where are the knobs?

#58

It is pretty neat to see the evolution of machines. We have old and new here. FYI: I scrapped that FADAL mill.

#59

I was trying to find a place to put it, but couldn’t find a place w/ 3 phase that I could access it when I needed.

#60

We scavenged all of the good parts for spares for the other one. It is in much better condition but we will probably be upgrading it as well before too long. if you find space, let me know.
