Lets talk roadsters. Specifically Z4M roadsters.

Most fun car I’ve owned thus far. Buy one.

How could you compare a lowly regular Z4 to the all mighty S2000?

Oh wait, because it’s faster…

We have already spent more time talking about what car to buy than the amount of time you will own it…

Buy the M.

I have an older client/friend looking to sell his black 2001 Z3 roadster 3.0 I believe, with like 30K babied miles on it. If that interests you let me know…

What about the BMW Z4 sDrive35is instead of the M? Supposed to be faster and hardtop convertible. It’s a twin-turbo too.

I 2nd this, coming from the N54 platform. The n54 does make some decent jam for very cheap. Pick up a used jb4 and make 400whp all day for less than 400$

z4M all day…

those things are going ot go back up in value soon too… especially the coupe

My dad sold his a bit ago. Was not my favorite car he has owned. The engine sounded like a sewing machine. It did handle very well.

I just can’t get into the styling of the Z4, in particular that rear end…

The Z4 is more comfortable and less high strung than the S2k. In this case I think you’d be happier with the Z4. Both are nice cars, plus I doubt the Z4 will be troublesome as long as you maintain it.

coupes are far better looking than the roadster but also command an extra 5-10k on avg

^ +1. The coupes are hot.

100% agree

Mhmm, phat rear-ends!

Yea, I agree, but that is also pretty much the case with any car, the coupe almost always looks better than it’s convertible counterpart…

Yeah, but it’s hard to beat the driving experience of hitting some back roads with the top down on the vert. Besides from inside the car you can’t see it anyway.

I’m not trying to sway Beck into getting a coupe. I simply posted it because I think the rear end styling looks proper where the roadster design kind of feels like an afterthought

I agree…

Why don’t you look into a Mercedes SL500 or any of those high quality German roadsters. R129 body styles and up. They have decent performance, IMO look great and are very reliable.
