Bing, be sure to leave feedback about the ripoff. If/when I buy on Howardforums, I make sure to check the feedback of the seller. I wouldn’t want to buy from a person who doesnt stand behind their product.

Thanks,
Renny

What benefit is to buying a Cell Phone that has no contract? You must buy a contract to operate it anyways right? If I bought a GSM phone that was unlocked and from someone on HForums.com how would I be able to use it if it has no contract? Anyways thanks for your help.

you never have to sign a contract.

i pay $250 + per month on my cell plan and refuse to sign a contract because if i get pissed off i switch immediately… i’ve done it twice.

i also cancelled with rogers 2 months ago and wound up with a $245 credit because they see i am not on a plan and spending mad $$$ so they take that shit seriously.

when you buy a new phone you get a discount when you sign up for 3 years but that shit is ghey… they can do whatever they want to you when you are locked in for 3 years.

but i dont wanna go back with bell because my sim card has too much $hit on it now…

I have a T-Mobile sim which on a “pay as you go” plan. It costs me less to use it from Canada than the long distance on rogers, even with a T-Mobile roaming charge.

If you deal with the States a lot, you may want a US plan that can roam in Canada. It may be cheaper for you.

Bing, just because you’re Chinese doesn’t mean you’re no good at buying phones. No need to hate.

Really though, go to howardforums.com. It’s TO based, so most people are local, and you’ll find the phone you want at a really good price.

but it would be more expensive for people calling me

I’ve looked into this as well.

Basically, it worked out to about $80 a month for unlimitted calling anywhere in North America, but I would have a US number.

I’m still debating whether or not it would be worthwile to do.

Boys, if you can score a fido city talk plan, thats the way to go. I sign up before fido went down, and i pay about 55 bucks a month. unlimited 24/7. Well, to local numbers, but still, i dont make long distance calls n-e-way. The only thing it that its hard to find this plan around now. I signed a 2 year contract, and then extendend it for another 2 years. Plus, rogers bought out fido, so its not too baddd.
