My pop’s '95 Windstar has the OEM battery and 195K on it. Can’t believe it cranks over, let alone starts in Buffalo Februarys.
technically your battery should outlast both your starter and alternator if maintained properly…
Original batt, starter, & alt in my wife’s 97 Olds Aurora, 100k, driven every day, batt located under rear seat, I think thats partly responsible for batt’s longevity(away from heat & severe cold)
