hey guys im quite new to nissans and i am just wondering if the redtop/blacktop engines are for both the s13 and s14 or just s14 and is the engine code sr20de or sr20det

not goin to go in to a lot of detail since a simple search will give you all the answers you want.
s13 had both red and black top. basically the same engine only that the black top is new, i think 93 and up.

s14 had only the black top, but is different from the black top s13, it has vtc (or whatever it is) a bigger turbine, t28 ball-bearing, with a greater stock HP then the s13 engine.

both s13 and s14 have sr20de and sr20det
