can anyone tell me the diff between the 2
whats best to use for the 91 s13?
i can get hem for the same price so dont know what to get

It depends which car the engine is coming from.
Blacktops will always be newer.
will its comming from a s13 94 i think the redtop has less kms on it but i need to know if there is any difference power or realable wise or upgades etc
If you’re planning on selling all these engines, shouldn’t you have done abit of research about them first?

The only difference between the two is the year they were made and
I have no proof of this but the Redtop Pistons have Slotted Oil Leads in
their Pistons and the Blacktop’s have Circular Oil Leads in their Pistons.
Thus meaning the Blacktop Pistons can take more boost.
But not much more like 5 more psi…

If you can get an S13 Redtop and an S13 Blacktop for the exact same price, then obviously go for the blacktop. Newer engines = teh win.
