Collectors stopped picking up Naples’ trash in December because dumps are full.
Can you imagine no trash pickup for 5 months? This isn’t some 3rd world country either. It’s Naples, the 2nd largest city in Italy.

I’d burn all the paper and bills in my fireplace, and all the garbage would end up in bags in the back of a pickup truck getting dumped in a mall dumpster and or parkinglot.

i live about 2 miles from the waste management landfill in chaffee and that fuckers grows by the foot everyday. i cant imagine how big they are going to make and how ugly its going to be.
It sits above the tree line and everytime i drive by it, i want to shoot someone for continuing to make that thing grow.

Freight containers, barges, put it on a train to somewhere and pay them to take it, build an incinerator… anything other than just pile it up and let it rot.
Exactly. We are all guilty. I do cringe when I see the amount of non recyclable packaging for some goods that in my mind is completely unnecessary.
