Anybody know where i can get the stuff? looking for 4x10 sheets and an aprox cost from a local supplier… also would need it to get cut into strips…

time for some siq floormats?

Metal Supermarket on Elmwood in Kenmore/North Buffalo ?

we have it.
call 675-3897

who is we? how mcuh for a 4X10

should i call and ask for anybody specific?

this is for a non automotive application

rigidized metals, near the skyway. They have a large assortment of aesthetic metals.

hmm… it is my girlfriend’s birthday soon and she mentioned wanting diamonds.

I would only reccommend them when you need cuts off of whole sheets, since most suppliers won’t let you take anything less then a half a sheet of anything.

Metal supermarkets would be good for anything less then a 4’x4’ sheet. The same for bar stock and tubing. Otherwise they are WAAYYYYY overpriced.

i need the 4X10 sheets cut into 12"X10’ strips

This stuff is fairly expensive from what I recall…

online ive seen ~ 35 bux for a 14"X96" cut shipped… i need ~ 14" X 60’

then why would you get it cut down to 12" strips?

would like to see the link for $35 shipped. That’s a steal…unless it’s like aluminum foil.

i think you need to measure twice, cut once, haha…

It comes in .100, .125 and .188

What do you need?

After looking at this PDF, I would give “hadco metal trading” a call…

142 bucks for a sheet at low quantity…

you get 4 10 foot pieces out of a sheet, that’s 36 each, plus delivery and cutting.

that was for .125, tho, so if you go down to .100, it should be even cheaper.

Kitchen backsplash?

i havnt measured the area where the strips are going yet…

im basically using this stuff as a baseboard in my garage…

im coating the floors this weekend with epoxy

but the concrete goes up the walls ~ 12-14" along walls… and its drywall above that…

so i was thinking about using the diamond-plate as a baseboard to cover this concrete on the wall… so the thickness doesn’t matter since its just decorative

why not just paint up to the drywall with the epoxy?

Ground effects in the garage? Ricer. :stuck_out_tongue:

it says custom sizes are available, give them a call?

i thought about that, and saw some other people on the garage journal that did this… but i dont like the look of it… especially since the bottom of the drwall where it meets the concrete is rough, so it wont look that nice

the diamondplate will look nicer

Like this but without the crown moulding or the corner crap…

above the diamond plate i may 2 tone the room with black paint with white above that… havnt decideded

the epoxy flooring i bought is a white base with a granite looking mix of color chips and ill be doing a semi heavy broadcast with a 100% solids clearcoat
