I’m much more comfortable with the capabilities and limits of my car now.

I have found the limit of all my vehicles to be the same while obeying traffic laws :gotme:

bs, i remember digging your beater sentra out of a snow mound in the old university 8 parking lot way back when :nono:

yea but 1-2K on an EVO gets you wayyyyy more than on an STI. You are 100% correct at the 10-15K+ mark though.

Fuck yeah. Emery and I have about the same price of mods in our cars, he’s trapping 118, i’m trapping 108. Cams, exhaust, intake, fmic, mbc, and tune vs. meth, exhaust, intake, fmic, mbc, and tune

are you fucking kidding me, I couldn’t possibly make this post any more hypocritical if i tried.
I don’t need to explain or restate what I have already said.
Quattro Krant, you define HOLIER-THAN-THOUGH.
man I even feel like rick, so much I am going to go italics on your ass.

No stupid, I was trying to say that everyone speeds. But, there is a difference between speeding, and wrecking.

Oh yeah, that guy wrecked his EVO going 20 mph in an empty parking lot of a closed business…
A three lane parking lot with public traffic :bloated:

The facts remain the same.
On public roads, following posted traffic laws every vehicle I have driven have the same limits. Weather it be a 6000lb van towing a 3999lb trailer or a 2400lb sentra or a 3300lb supercar.
Besides, I don’t remeber following any laws while in a closed parking lot.

Kids with cars like this are why insuring my car is so expensive.
This is actually the first time I’ve seen an EVO wing not survive an accident.
People that don’t know how to drive or understand vehicle dynamics and the physics involved should drive like ass-hats. Even good drivers can wreck a good car, but an idiot who can’t drive will wreck them a lot more often. If you have a fast car and you want to be a street hero take a competative driving class, go auto-xing, etc. Don’t test your limits on the skreet! All you super racer doods 16-19 years old who have $$ and can afford a fast car, the car’s limits are A LOT higher than yours. You are not as good a driver as u think you are.

AMEN!
I am glad someone said this.
It is hilarious to see these kids talk about the limits of their cars.
99% of the people on here will never see the limits of their cars.
i want the headlights
I can think of a few parts I would like, if anything comes available please let me know.
Jeller
I wanted to update everyone with the ridiculous outcome of this ridiculous event.
The insurance company ended up giving this retard MORE than the blue book value of the car. They gave him $31k for it even though KBB private value is 29 and he owes 27 on the car. So he ends up making 4 grand profit for being stupid.
Karma will get him in the end your hoping? Not likely. State Farm did NOT drop his policy, despite this being the 2nd car he’s totaled in 18 months. They did not even raise his insurance rates!%@
So he took his 4k and put a down payment on a BMW 335xi to be delivered in October…
ugh i dont wish the kid harm but how does anyone learn when they are never punished. unless this kid has mad money i can see him living in a trailer park the rest of his life though. 4,000 doesnt upgrade someone from a shitsubishi to an evo.
Actually he’s 21 and he still lives at home with his parents so he can devote 100% of his income to pay for his cars.
But I agree he will never learn his lesson with no repercussions. The same thing happened 18 months ago. He had a Cobalt SS which was totaled in an accident (not his fault) but he used the money to upgrade to the EVO. Now he’s leap frogging to the BMW. Maybe we should crash ours cars more often.
I can only imagine what my Dad’s response would have been had I tried to mooch off him while driving a car worth what he paid for their house 30 years ago. I think it would have been something akin to “No.”
Way to enable your kid to prolong teenage-level retardation.
No shit? I’m thinking of wrapping my mazda around a tree.
Karma could still bite him in the ass when state farm drops his policy, or raises it through the roof for his new car. There’s no way he’s in state farm mutual, being so young, so he must already pay alot.
It sucks getting a new expensive car and then finding out you can’t insure it, or have to pay $5k/year for insurance. But then I’m sure daddy or mommy could insure it for him, if they don’t already.
