Looking for a Metra dash kit and harness/ant adapter for my e46. I’d like to support a local business besides Best Buy. I cant keep track of whats open or closed anymore.
Thanks!

Boomer McLoud is still open in the CP plaza right near my crib.
Last year I went to Audio Obsessions in Albany to get a Metro adapter for my gf’s sentra. They were the only ones around that had it.

Electronics warehouse is down the street from my work. I know they do alot of stuff for local car dealerships and usually bend over backwards for any kind of business
Zims had a bunch of Metra stuff.
They are good peeps. My brother had to order his e46 install kit when he went there though, took a bit but they got it.
i can get metra stuff if you have the part #
+1 for Audio Obsessions
if you buy local expect to pay 3-4 times as much. these guys make their bank on doing installs, they don’t sell the dash kits and harnesses at comparable prices to online stores. Prime example i just bought a double din install kit for a 2009 gmv van and wiring harness and antenna adapter online for under 40- shipped. Boomer wanted 60- for the same kit with the $5- cheater harness, for the correct gm harness then wanted an additional 60-. So all in all i paid 40- shipped and had everything within a couple days, they wanted 120-. If you need it quick boomer in albany has good guys over there, i’ve used them before in a pinch and if you ask them they’ll ususally knock off a few bucks. Online is really the cheapest way to go though, just get the part number you need from metra online and enter it in ebay.
i have a dealer acocunt at select products as well but i try to stay more focused on subwoofer enclosures so i just ebay dash kits when i need them, it’s usually cheaper.
Yeah I wanted it right away pretty much, went to Boomer in CP. And just as I suspected it used a newer antenna style with an older bmw amplified harness.
another +1 for these guys. I’ve been buying equipment and shit there for as long as i’ve had cars. AWESOME people.
boomer mcloud is owned by a family i am good friends with, good people there.
audi_jay does business with them, so they must be good people
