i see some great ones
maybe keep NYS in the same font/color as the S can stand for both State as well as Speed…
so it could look like
NYSpeed as the current logo as opposed to NY Speed. i guess it’s obvious but some designs are taking advantage of the shape of the S to start it’s own thing, which is great too
