LOL@email from Howard at Redline...

Could still be Failboat.

He has moved so many times, and who knows where he is now. It is very easy for him to have a new IP address since he’s always moving.

Just something to think about

Edit: Although the typing and grammar used by Pwrrr does not really resemble Failvis’s style, so it could also not be him

someone told me he is back in the area

Can I haz Cossey-ballin-ass-stickers.com sticker for my whipz?

Gee who would this remind us of? Dumb fucking business decision giving jersey shore chodes jobs at your business and thinking that will boost the local cred for the shop. :retardclap speaking of which, how come he has graced us with his e-presence lately? I haven’t had a jealously rage fit in over a month without him being here.

No prob. I have a ton of them laying around.

I almost miss his posts, though. He’d be perfect for my GTL decal.

Thanks you. I respect you for respecting me Mr. Cossey. I will show my respect towards your company when I am respectfully doign 190 bombs down my local 45-50mph roads in town. I figure at that speed, nobody will notice your sticker as I zoom by. Only the other cool kids we target our bussiness towards will see the sticker once they catch up to me in their awesome cars too.

Ok I agree that reputation means everything in this business but some of the posts I am seeing here make no sense at all. How do customers attribute to the rep of your shop? If you were the owner, what are you going to do, run a full background check on every paying customer, even if you did find out they were nutjobs, are you still going to turn down money? That answer is no.

The only reason you guys seem to hate on Redline is because of Tony. Who is a customer AND an employee. So, for the sake of future arguments, it would seem more logical to argue that the companies EMPLOYEES give them a bad rep, not its customers.

You’re nuts if you don’t think customers are a representation of a shop. I’m not saying for Howard to turn down business because of it, but there’s no way you can tell me that if you saw a bunch of chode whistlers driving like assholes and the one thing they all had in common besides the car was a sticker, that you would not think that the business name on the sticker is what they represent.

Tony was a customer prior to an employee… am I correct? therefor my argument still stands. Once a chode always a chode. If redline knew he did a 190 bomb, and I bet he bragged about it to someone there, or word got back to him about it, AND he still employed him after the fact, logically they are condoning the actions.

You got me hooked on the word chode. lol

Ok half of the members on this forum have Shift518.com stickers, and most of us on here all drive like assholes. I can go to the SRS section at anytime and pull videos of MANY members racing, street racing, burning out on private/public property. Just in case you want to argue that, don’t.

For someone to judge a shop strictly based on what they see a car doing with that shops sticker on it, to me, only means that you are immature, naive and judgmental to not be able to realize that everyone is different.

Take Shawn Ivey for example. I see tons of Evos with IveyTune stickers all over them acting a fool all the time. Am I going to judge Ivey and say he sucks at tuning and ill never go there based on what I see a few of customer doing? No.

Just like Welfare recipients do to Trac-Fone’s, customers directly affect the image of a company… :rofl

You misunderstood what I was saying.
Regardless of how good the work is, people will still assume Howard only works on chose whistlers’ cars with how many can be seen. People will often find it hard to see past all of it. I couldn’t care less, usually, who represents the business if I constantly see good output (not power, but work output) but there is many that can’t. You’re looking at it from a business owners ignorant point of view. Not the potential customer’s. Note how many people are agreeing with everything I have said. I know you’re going to try to think of me as a liberal and bring up politics and such, but I’m just giving you the facts of what a potential customer sees.

Shift518 is not a business. And obviously people have caught on to Shift a-holes since the forum is monitored by law enforcement and Shift has a bad reputation when you talk to a lot of people. But thank you for helping me prove my point by bringing that up!

Regarding your point 99Frc, our forums member base is the large representation of the business that is Shift518. The members are the reason why many people avoid us and make biased decision against the company, regardless of what my efforts and the rest of the staff to change our image to be more favorable with the general public.

Something to think about.

Coss, legally and ideally it is a business. But I think one has to have net profit as a goal instead of pure entertainment.

I should sell tickets to the show that is Shift instead of ads :lmao :ponder

A+ post. + rep.

Haha this site is full of ass holes but thats what makes it so much fun. You gotta just get over the ball busting and shrug it off. People take life to serious

I believe it’s not a business of you don’t show a motive for profit lol.

didnt we have the buisness argument before over c-c-c with the arods crew ? what was that result …and yes faivis now works at ferreties pizza joint as a dish washer . yes its off of exit 10 right near home so he can wald seein as he has no car

this thread sucks

all I am getting out of this is people hate redline and the ones that like/back them up are nut swingers.

At one point Redline was supposed to tune Mustangs like mine but apparently stopped/never started doing that like they said.

I remember reading on AUG that they were supposed to be tuning all Mustangs.

Apparently theres more money in Vettes, Camaro’s and Vipers than there is in Mustangs.

you and i have talked about this before. im glad someone gets it. i know it must seem to alot of people like im a stuck-up opinionated douchebag with no remorse, but thats the point of it all. i bust balls hard on this site to get people all pissed off as a joke, and im definately not the only one. many people bust my balls and i come back harder with a smile on my face. although i never truely expect anyone to take me seriously people do, i can hold myself accountable to a part of shift518’s bad reputation but at the end of the day people have to take things lightly and bust balls back.

as far as the representation thing goes for the car world, not everyone is going to judge a company based on its clientèle, but alot of people are. its an argument that can really go both ways. same can be said about anything.

redline is always a sticky subject around here, we all cant deny that he has done some pretty amazing things, made some pretty amazing connections, gathered a pretty decent spotlight, whether or not their cars stand the test of time/beatings, i have to hand it to them they have done some pretty cool things in a short amount of time. but on the other hand he was a self righteous, pompous, arrogant, ignorant douchebag the only time i ever met him. all personality flaws aside hes done some cool shit. i guess the point is make your own opinions, and take things lightly.

ive made alot of friends and a few enemies on shift518. thats enough profit for me to justify my time invested.:hug

But people are judged by their clientele. If you saw your typical ICP kid rocking. A t-shirt looking all retarded, are you gunna go home and check up that band? Nope not unless you’re retarded. Its the way shit works. How many wealthy individuals refuse to shop at Walmart because of the customers it brings in? But at that point you’re getting into class. Customer base makes up your business. Who your initial advertising was directed at is who you draw in. What product you sell, your prices, all that is plays a factor.
