Longest trip you've ever taken.

To Canada? Florida? Cali?

If you’ve done it while splitting a car with others, share it as well but make a note because it’s definitely not the same thing.

Longest I’ve ever done was this past summer.

Down to Key West and back through Deals Gap - 3700 miles or so.

Need some ideas for this year! Vegas? :dunno

Longest trip I’ve done was to West Palm Beach and back in 3 days for work.

My wife and I drove down to Virginia Beach one year.

in a 1998 static 5/6 dropped ford ranger on 18X9 wheels, standard cab. I knew it was dumb by the time I hit Binghampton…

If I travel far its usually flying so the longest Ive gone in a car is twice now to Indy for MotoGP.

Ohio is a very boring state to drive through by the way!

Driving: I used to go to Mid-Ohio racecourse every year for the vintage motorcycle days. 9 hours driving a normal modern car, did it a couple times in a 70s dodge ram with a slant 6 towing a trailer full of bikes. that takes 12 hours

Flying: flew to LA, then drove up to Mojave to stay with a buddy. drove out into the desert to watch the king of the hammers race each day I was out there.

+rep so flat and boring!

Split the driving from albany to cape canaveral in one straight shot. Got on a cruise, partied my ass off all week and then drove all the way back.

The longest solo drives have been from albany to myrtle beach and Indianapolis.

Im looking to buy a car. Im torn between 2 right now, one is in atlanta, one is in houston. When I pull the trigger i’ll fly down and drive it back from one of those

longest driving trip Old Orchard Beach, Maine haha

Longest solo drive was myrtle beach. Did that in my 99 escort wagon like a baus.

Longest trip for work was to fort Kent Maine in a 6 liter vortec van with a lsd. Thing was fast for a van.

Furthest flight was California, san fransisco. Then we drove an hour or 2 to see the red woods. It was fuckin insane.

A long, long time ago (1981)…A friend of mine and I took a driving trip to California. We drove 30 hours straight and was in Ammarillo Tx. Then went to the Grand Canyon for a couple of days (should be on everyones to see list), then California for a few days. Hit Las Vegas for 3 days on the way back (had a couple of High School friends that lived there at the time). We had an absolute blast there. And I left Las Vegas with exactly as much money as I pulled in there with. Kind of took our time coming home from there (500 miles/day)…Probably one of the best times of my life!

/\ thats a trip to say the least! Clark Griswold aint got shit on you!!! LOL

EDIT: Except its hard to beat the Family Truckster!!!

This summer I want to do a fly down drive back to pick up a project or two with the brother and/or wife. I need a vacation!

Driven to tennessee and back solo twice and split once.

Have gone down to murfreesboro, tn twice by myself. have drove back from orlando, fl when i picked up a car down there, my mom drove 2 hours of that trip. i want to drive cross country some day

From here to Boston Mass, then from there down to columbus, GA

20+ Hours

Edit: Found a pic on my photobucket, this is the truck I drove down

Was the most uncomfortable cramed ride ever, the jackass that prepped the truck was supposed to strap a crate on the back and seal it so I could haul all the computer equipment down for a branch I was setting up. Nope, Had 5 computer systems, a camera system and a couple servers riding shot gun with me :rofl

HAHAHHAA. Take 11mpg cabover flat bed to pick up electronics… could have taken ANY normal car instead. LOL

I used to drive 100k miles a year in one of those trucks. FUX THAT

Wasnt that simple.

This was with my old employer, the truck was from the boston branch, it was no longer in use, when we opened up down in columbus georgia they needed a truck down there, instead of buying a new one, they wanted to bring this one down there. I needed to go down there anyways to isntall the camera systems and computer systems so they asked me if I’d be willing to drive it down there and fly home. Like a retard at the time I said sure

Had the worse neck and back pain of my life for 2 days :rofl

Mine was this trip to Georgia I just made a month or so ago (1100 miles). I can’t believe I’ve been here as long as I have already.
