yep, saw that. making good power out of that 4.8. Surprised actually thats its holding that power with stock internals + rod bolts
nice
Awesome numbers. Nice torque curve
It kinda sounds abit laggy on the dyno. Turbo comes in hard all of a sudden, but a little while after he starts the run. But the graph doesnt show such a sharp jump in power, its pretty smooth increase.
88 mm on a 293 just seems like its too big but its working pretty good
This video gets around the sites, quiker then darkstar at a circle jerk.
I’ve always liked that truck
thats nuts, I always loved that truck too. its got a 6spd in it now?
yeah its a stick shift. Not sure when that happened but i thought its been that way for a while now?
et > HP
wow my junkyard motor are GREAT!! nice!!
I’m surprised Quik didn’t drive to everyone’s house and make them look it up on Youtube for themselves.
:stupid:
x2
lol
haters here. nice truck nice numbers. i dont see too many tracks around here opened up in february so i doubt he can run it now. i bet he will be at a track soon enough though.
masondixin, ceicel & atco he was going but snow was in the air!
:gives:
I wouldnt say haters but quik has the reputation. Sure since the truck is running and making big numbers he’ll claim he did all the work and the tune himself. But then the moment something goes wrong it will be someone elses fault. Then he’ll go back around looking for handouts again. Dont worry Ill post another picture of it on the side of the road again when it breaks.
Who the Fu@k are you to bust his balls. Ive been there for the whole build and he built it tuned it and only adjusted his tune on the dyno. Your all quik to talk sh!t on the computer. Whats gonna happen when you pull up to him at a light? You’ll see the back of his truck
Give credit where credit is due. Haters
oh god that is the most powerful “stock” motor ever.
I’m worried about that bottom end. LSx stuff doesnt like being boosted like that. I know he has rod bolts but i’m not sure if he did anythign to the pistons and piston rings. LS1’s are known for number 7 piston breaking. 4.8 i dont see being any different with lsx style intake on it
