Dom (8grand) is looking for a job. He has a bachelor’s in IT and cooking experience in a restaurant before he finished college. He tried to get a pizza delivery job, but the place was worried he would leave when he found a job in his field (he would work both jobs if he does eventually find another IT job). Under the table is preferred, but not absolutely necessary. Anything that he is qualified for would be great, not picky about the type of job. Could start asap. Thanks!
What happened with Expedient? I think I applied for the same job he was working last year.
He was fired. It’s a long story.
Hope everything works out for you guys.
Thanks. Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong lately.
I’m looking for a job for the summer.
I am kind of doing detailing on the side now, but it’s really slow and need to make some money.
I have done a lot of food service stuff like catering and also a cafeteria. I’ve also done detailing at a dealership as well as on the side like I’ve mentioned. I’m looking for something in the Baldwin/Waterfront area or the Irwin/Greensburg/Monroeville area. My email is HLxDrummer@gmail.com if you know of anything or want your car detailed.
My uncle is looking for a job.
He owns and operates his own carpet cleaning/flooring business, but times are slow and bills are piling up. (That and he has several outstanding invoices, including two in which the owner of Longview Lounge in North Versailles as well as Banquets Unlimited in Wilmerding both stil owe him money. Bastards.)
He needs at least $12 to stay afloat. His house is in Monroeville, but he’s willing to commute.
Any leads are appreciated.
My boss’s wife just got word that shes being laid off as early as the end of this month and needs a job. She has a degree in Information Engineering or something like that and 15 years experience in IT related fields. I know theres a million ways to go with IT and I dont know exactly what shes looking for but I imagine she wouldnt be too picky considering the economy and job market right now. Let me know if anyone knows of any openings. She lives out in cranberry.
No staffing agencies, please.
Send me a PM if you might be interested in this kind of work and have the skills outlined and about 1-3 years experience, preferred.
These are clearly not job descriptions of any type. This is just the broad description of what the jobs entail.
Position #1: Houston, TX
Customer Support Engineer
The first position requires direct customer interaction. The position will entail being on-site at customer facilities during the work week. There will also be data delivery deadlines. A basic understanding of at least one CAD package is required. I would like to find a tenacious problem solver that is a scrappy, resourceful person who knows how to google and can troubleshoot Windows software packages with limited assistance. Also, the position requires occasionally inviting clients to lunch meetings to gather customer satisfaction information as well as enhancement requests. The filing of detailed trouble reports for issues that need to go beyond a field-fix is required. Some travel is required. We will train you to use our proprietary software packages.
Position #2: Canonsburg, PA
Software Testing Specialist
The ideal person has “The Testing Mindset”, knows a few CAD systems at a basic level and have used Matlab, Maple, or any computer-aided engineering packages. The position also entails learning the development team’s support-liaison role to infrequently act as a back-up liaison (i.e. when I go on vacation). Devising test plans, executing test plans, bug reporting as well as installing and configuring software packages are the bread and butter of this position.

RPM Hot Rods is looking for a few good men… Taltented fabricators and an experienced 12 volt tech needed… MUST have good work ethic and be able to pass a drug test! Call Fritz at 724-940-3322 or email fritz@rpmhotrods.com
There is an opening for a lock operator at Dashshields. You don’t need any previous experience (I got hired with no previous experience and without even interviewing). It’s a pretty laid back job. It’s a government gig, so it’s pretty stable and the benefits are EXCELLENT. Don’t let the pay scare you off, it is an entry level position, so there is a lot of room to go up (and it’s fairly easy to, at that). I started out at this position about a year and a half ago, and have been promoted 4 times, to give you a rough idea.
The pay varies, but the base pay for this position is $17.86 - $24.91 /hour. Then you can tack on sunday premiums, 2nd/3rd shift, hazardous duty pay, etc etc etc…
