a good 383 or 396 LT1 stroker kit…with hyperutechtic(sp)pistions for my car…and somewhere i could get it bored and stroked…im thinking of dlk in deer lakes…and what is a good wet nitrous kit…or should i just bore it to a 355 and do the nitrous???
:nono: In complete honesty I see higher RWHP #s out of bolt on and cammed (no head work or short block work) than most LT1 strokers. But if you do build your LT1 go w/ forged pistons, rods, and crank so you can spray the ish out of it! A stock short block LS1 can take a 150 shot for a while, but really a 125 is about as high as is “reliable.” However, w/ an all forged 383/396 LT1 you could spray 300+.
