car needs wheel alignment, new windshield, and def a paint job. and one patch in the floor 3-6 inches, no where near the frame or tunnel. under the seat. also will need a peice welded in the rear drivesside qtr panel where it goes to the bumper… need all over paint for sure. and paint job for sure.also seats are ripped drivers and pass. big time. needs new ones.
car has NEW pads and brake rotors front and rear. new clutch.
also notcied the diff cover had fins, so im sure that means its vlsd correct?

So… You’re putting the ls1 in a piece of crap? If your doing the ls1 swap, you must have more money to spend on the car itself. I’d look for a decent shell, that car sounds like its f-cked. You’ll lose a lot of money in this car. A good alignment (not at walmart), new windshield and a decent (read: not maaco) paint job will cost you a thousand easily. Don’t forget that with an engine like the ls, the car will most likely require a better brake system (+350hp on stock 240 brakes), so those NEW pads won’t be worth much. The new clutch ain’t that great if you ain’t gonna use it either.
I know it sounds like I’m trying to be a dick, but I’m just trying to point out stuff that you may have overlooked. I’d personally look for a decent shell (~4k) or a car with a blown engine.
That ls swap, if it happens, will be pretty sick.

went back tonight. talked him down in price. put the car on stands. went through the whole car again… only bit of rsut were the two areas i listed above. which is no biggie. and myself being a ex-bodyman its more fun for me, i got all the materials and the place to do it. so all in all. i ended up buying this car tonight.
i got the car for that much cheaper when i got home i had left overs to pick up a nice coilover kit, and apexi n1 dual. reason for this exhaust? well i can reuse it when i do the LS swap. and also was a great deal. both products new in box. should be here 3-5 days.
so now, i would liek to find a nice rear latch for the trunk. in the meantime. the color change begans. going black.
