^+1 Windows 8 is a pile of shit (ATPIT). If you buy Windows 8 Pro you have free downgrade rights to Windows 7.

Windows 8 isn’t bad…
You just use one of the free utilities or pay $4 for the app that ditches the metro interface what you end up with is something that looks like Windows 7 and is twice as fast.
Which one do you recommend?
I just paid $4 for Start8
But classic shell has good reviews.
