looking for an upholstery / interior shop, pref. Rochester

So in order to properly repaint the e30, the glass is coming out (ugh, more $$). Anyway, my headliner is in bad shape so I want to do that while it’s out. I was hoping to get ultra suede or alcantara, probably a black or charcoal - probably end up ordering one from someone who makes 'em for the e30, and I assume it’s something a local auto upholstery shop could install?

Anyone know who to call around Rochester, if not, if someone would travel to Roc or worst case, I could tow the car out to Buf but that’d suck since it’d have no glass / need to be covered / the weather lately :frowning:

Are you recovering a removable headliner or creating a whole new one?

if ur getting a whole new headliner it should just screw into the ceiling of the car…at least thats how it was on the honda

Dave, Try Carl’s Auto Seat Covers. I did some audio work on the owners car and the fit of his apholstry(sp) was amazing. I can get you the phone# tomorrow, I have his card at work.
