where are you looking to move?
How much are you looking to spend for a house? A big 3bdr.
have a VERY NICE 2 bdrm coming up on G.I. sept 1st if inerested.around $700ish
You’re better off buying a small house rather then throwing your money away on rent.
No he is not.
why? i dont have enough credit im 20…
I’m 24 and just bought a house myself. With all the government and state programs it was dumb not to. Everywhere I turn theres a new program giving new home owners and “low income” households free money. My mortgage is less than what I would be paying for rent plus I have my own backyard, garage and I don’t have to answer to a landlord or anyone. Plus when/if I want to move in 5 years I can sell the house for a profit instead of seeing the $600 or more a month spent on rent dg down the drain and get nothing back in the end.
I can understand how renting might be better for some people but for me buying a house was the way to go.
For you yes…but not for everyon.
x2
At age 23 - I just bought a double in Kenmore
I considered a double for the extra income but knowing my luck I would get stuck with a nagging tenant and the extra money wouldn’t be worth the aggravation.
dont buy a dump and there wont be anything for them to nag about.
so how would i get a loan with no credit and no one to co sign?
You can’t. Get a CC and start building credit.
no i want a place now
Do you have cell phone bill you pay every month? A car loan? Car Ins?
Go to your bank and talk to someone. Tell them what you want to do and see if you can get preapproved for a loan. Can’t hurt to find out and you gotta start somewhere.
He said he has no credit…in this economy he will not get a loan with out good history or a big down payment.
Homeowning is the best thing to do in the right situation. That is not this situation. If anything, the homeowners preaching to you to do the same should make themselves useful and rent you a room.
