looking for boost controller, fuel reg and down pipe for 1.8t

i sold the parts to this kid . i told him he needs a wideband air/fuel from (((jvg))) i dont know much about messing with the 1.8t but this kid dont know anything yet. he thought his car was messed up because his boost dont stay at 17 . it peaks at 17 then drops he thought it should stay there . untill he learns more he has to be very carefull.

kkkustom---- not all 1.8ts hate MBC’s just k0x turboed 1.8ts do. my GT3071R loves its MBC. ;D. N75 electrically connected, turbosmart mbc in line… but i get what your saying… the wastegate frequency valve (n75) on the stock turbos are finicky.

Bite me MR big turbo! lol Just kidding bro. I think 99% of the MBC issue I have with my turbo is that is spools slightly faster and easier than your 3076 will! to say the least. I have been keeping a keen eye on it, and just have to hone my right foot skills and keep the turbo from spooling. I havenot hit limp in about a week… but I also found the sweet spot 77mph… cruse controll even can be run without hitting limp at that speed. :banana

I will have to meet up with you and compair setups… I am running the same mbc and I think it is set up close to yours.

Back to this OP. If he is already seeing 17psi… without a tune. there isnt much else he can do. And like jeremy said, he needs to under stand why his pressure drops from 17 to prolly 12 at redline. Cough cough, tiny ass turbo cant keep up at high rpms… you could JB weld the wastegate shut and still have a hard time seeing 17psi at 6500rpm on a K03.

What color car, and model is this… I cant wait to see it being towed home.

black jetta, tinted, some weird tails, fart can.

and my k03 was happy with just a chip, itll be tough to keep from spooling a k0 anything, the are practically spooled at idle. i can drive my car around all day and not hit boost

true that s0n

my hybrid k04/07 :lol is easy to drive not hitting boost.

all joking aside, my car is going to be back on a k0x soon :banana

thats fine. too bad its a waste of a block i wish i had in my car :sad

oh well

is there anything we could possibly do?

TRADE BLOCKS!#@$!@!

you two should just race for pinks. no matter who wins you both get what you want. :crackup

not a chance. im not putting a high mile motor into my low mile shell, id rather have a low mile engine

i wish i had low miles and low mile shell and a built block and jazz blue paint and a pag parts 30r kit and a precision core and a diff and a lot of other shit i have no money for :sad

and an AEB head and a ross racing manifold.

Are you kidding me? You didn’t say this shit to me-if you meant it to me you should apologize. :nono My “daddy” doesn’t pay for my shit. You might wan’t to “look” closer at my info, I’m not in h.s and i’m not in my twenty’s. In fact i’m probably old enough to be your daddy.

P.s. stockcarboy why? P.s.s. buy a chip for christ sake

chip then exhaust, then fmic. thats what I was planning on doing with mine, if ya do that you will be more than happy I’m sure. Salsbury motorcar has the apr chip and that has a lifetime warranty, theres alot to be said about that and its $500 i belive but you get a big boost in power. pm somebody like 30rlogic or mk430r or 1stgen, they know about that stuff, and ive met 1stgen at a vw/audi meet and hes a old bastard :lol ::slight_smile:

and of course that know it all prick kkkcustom :crackup ::slight_smile:

LOL you forgot to mention me in that list of know-it alls! lol just kidding I know you never met me yet, so it cool, but really if anyone needs some advice i am willing to help. And if you think my credibility isnt there, ask for my 2 cents and get it from someone else who knows their stuff and you trust… they will match I bet.

Salsbury is a good deal for APR. Also look at Fast Addiction, they are about an hour from lake george. depending on where you are coming from, one might be closer than the other.

The only thing I am not happy with APR is that they dont support you software wise after the initial purchase. As in, if you make any major changes, they wont flash you a slightly different file. Where as REVO, UNI… so i heard, are a bit more flexible. So choose wisely, and look down the road as well… so you are not wasting more money later on.
