looking for contractor asap. water leak + insurance

Home insurance is covering damages from a water leak. Need an official contractor to come in and write one out

So far this is what I’ve noticed

  • front door is now bowed out, won’t open or close properly
  • ceiling leaking in kitchen, above cabinets and plaster deterioration everywhere
  • carport leaking whenever it rains / thaws alongside my house where it Butts up to the siding.
  • 2nd story floor leaking Near where carport attached
  • looks like water got in from my kitchen all the way down where my door is, approximately 15 feet.
  • haven’t gotten into the attic yet or looked behind the siding near car port. Wondering if there is severe damage up there yet.

All I can say is good luck. It is like you and 10,000 other people. You may want to go to the homeshow and just ask every contractor until someone says yes and makes an appointment.
