Looking for housemate, working, professional preferred...

Hello,

I am looking for a good, responsible housemate. The house is located in the city of Buffalo, on a pretty small street (not many homes), in a great neutral location (Hertel area), mere minutes from all the major thruways, and ~5 minutes from downtown Buffalo. The rent is 350 per month, and the utilities are split 4 ways, so on average, you’ll pay ~450 per month. To be honest, it’s a very “quiet” home, as all the housemates are from out of town and work full time, so when they are off, they are usually out of town visiting family.

Your rent will include your bedroom, full access to the whole house, living room (all leather furniture with a TV), dining room, including off-street gated parking in the yard, full laundry facilities, and storage space in the basement, if needed. The house is a 2-story, 4 bedroom, 2 full bath, plus basement/attic, as well as a double lot backyard with parking for you, and the place is fully updated and renovated throughout. In the last year or so, the house has received 2 brand new, gutted to the studs of the house bathrooms as well as kitchen, all brand new vinyl high-efficient windows, as well as a brand new 3500 square foot driveway, and paint throughout.

I can not stress enough, I am looking for a quality individual here. Preferrably someone that is a working professional, and is able to get along well in a communal environment with other working professionals. I have dealt with enough housemates over the years to the point where I am very specific now in what I am looking for. I do not (and I’m sure you do not) have time or energy to deal with people that can not function in this kind of environment.

Good luck. Its so hard to find good, reliable, problem free roomates at least you know what or who you’re looking for up front.

Yeah, it seems to be getting harder as time goes on. Maybe that is bec. my criteria is more specific now, but in the past I would still get like 3-5 good candidates every time I posted up on CL. Often times, it was hard to choose, too. Have had pretty good success with this over the years, but it seems now, all I get is spammer emails and flakes. And the ones that are interested now, just seems to totally suck…I don’t know what it is…maybe humanity as a whole is just slowly declining…

Joe, good luck with renting this out. If I wasn’t set up nicely i’d certainly consider this, as you would be a kick as landlord and your place seems really nice.

Well, I’m out of town so often, that it doesn’t matter too much to me. I’m really never there. Plus I got 2 great roommates that take care of the place. We all benefit…
