First time I dealt with dylan it was online in a pm and he came off a bit rude. I wasn’t offended or anything. Then I dealt with him in other ways and he’s a really genuinely great guy and he’s very honest to deal with. He’s always answered my questions or helped me out, if I needed something and he didn’t have it he found it for me.
All in all, he’s a great guy.
do like me, be neutral. bought parts off of dylan when i needed them. didn’t when i did not need them. didn’t run my mouth on anyone and lived my own damned life.
seriously. isn’t even my thread and i feel bad it got blown up with shit talking. if you take issue with the guy. take it up with that person privately and then shut your fucking mouths. we are a community of car lovers, not teenage drama queens.
don’t know dylan very well. have purchased from him once before and didn’t have issue. heard plenty bad about him but i went with cash in hand and that’s what he respects… that steering column hasn’t detonated in some strange fashion and i have not had any single reason to talk bad.
Everyone has haters, some people have 1, some people have a few, some people have a lot. The reasons for “haters” can be many. Thanks to those who “piped up” and vouched for that Im not the guy people make me out to be, and just because I didnt accept that lowball, or want to deliver a 20 dollar part to brampton in rush hour because you “need it bad bro” doesnt make me an asshole, just means I have a backbone and self respect for my time, effort, fuel and THE PARTS.

Dylan “fanboy” here, Used parts are “as is” if you buy the part without inspecting it, and it turns out to be garbage, It’s your own fault for not looking at it. Dylan is a good guy. Do you’re job, inspect the part, and either buy it or don’t. Now last I checked, this thread was about locating a car, not bashing on people.

Sold me an rb20 full swap and didn’t give me all the wiring and when contacted you told me I’m stupid… Afterwards I bought the car you took the rb out of and my wiring was In the engine bay
You did help me with the swap but my time/gas/frustration can’t be replaced
He is 100% dead on when stating you have ruined the 240 seen… I’m actually getting out and moving to BMW because like when I joined this forum ppl know what there cars are worth … When you have stupid ass’s selling beat up red hatch backs for 3 grand… It’s because of you. And Kevin the reason he has so many friends is because chances are you need it he will have it… So good guy to know. Now Dylan is an alright guy and usually will do anything to help the situation especially if what he had sold you is wrong or defective but it cost you time and money.
Would I deal with Dylan … Yes he has smarten up alot in the last couple years and as much as he has ruined the scene and this site … He has made money/a living and ppl have to respect that. So kudos Dylan… I’m not trying to attack you Dylan just tired of all the little kids you have brought into the scene and this forum coming in and sticking up for you when indeed ppl have received items not as described or expected. Not sure if you are defending, offending or what, but I dont really feel like getting into something I havent heard about, about transactions done almost 3-4 yrs ago. I recall giving you a wiring harness, the one that came out with the engine, I am not sure what your talking about. It was years ago, so my memory is fuzzy. The flywheel was my error, and due to our conflicting and busy schedules, I dont believe you ended up getting a new flywheel, however I do recall we worked something out when you picked up some wheels, if my memory serves me correct. Thanks for the positive input, and not sure what to say about the other stuff as I cannot completely agree, but what can you do. When dealing with 20-30-50 dollar items off 20+ yr old cars, sometimes mistakes can be made, and I generally can say in good faith that I do my absolute best to rectify any issue.
Sorry your thread ended up like this dood, but you know I gotta put my two cents in. Bought my 240 in 2012. Rotbox, my own fault I know, but I was stoked as fuck and wanted a white hatch more then i wanted to stay alive. Back left of the car was in an accident, rear bumper was nicely dented in. Asked Tyler Riel if he knew someone if he’s got someone that sells parts, he referred me to Dylan. Asked Dylan if he’s got a bumper, 60$, of course I offered him 40, he said no, I said dumb move to myself, 60’s still cheap as fuck. Told me where to meet up, and was there within 2 minutes of when he said he’d be there. Gave me my bumper, I gave him the bumper after seeing it was decent. Didn’t come off as rude, came off as a nice dood. He took a look around my car 'cause I told him I just bought it, told me it was garbage. That ticked me off decently, 'cause this thing’s my dream car. I then realized this guy obviously knows more then me and is just calling it as I see it. Told me to contact him if I ever look at another one. Didn’t rip me off, told me to come out and drift if I get into that scene, told me to come chill if tyler and him are around. Just met the guy and he invites me to chill. He’s a cool guy, really nice, only reason he’s being a dick on here is because, like he said, you be a dick, you get a dick back. Honestly, Dylan’s one of the big cats around here keeping the “240 scene” alive. He sells parts for the car we like, and probably has ones that are decently hard to find anywhere else. HE KEEPS OUR CARS ALIVE. To say he’s killing the scene is like saying the little missile drift groups trying to “keep drifting fun” and not have it focused on going pro and making it a career, and more about just going out with your buddies, shredding tires, and having an amazing time not worrying about sponsors and shit, are killing the scene. So if kids wanna keep bitching, let them bitch. If they wanna buy parts that are probably gonna be over priced or not have access to some parts Dylan might actually have that no one else does,fuck 'em.

^we told you on the first page where it went, lol. The winter drift threads became redundant when people started ruining it by being heatbags etc. So individuals go out with friends and such. Simple really.

I would say that the large influx of ex “honda kids” has ruined the scene, if we were getting down to it. Not many people have the time, space or patience to rip apart a rotted shitheap so you can get to work, thanks to a used maf, a alternator, distributor, fuel tank you either found from a person with left overs, a part out, or me, or Varun, or Japan Direct or whoever. Wrecking yards dont keep them, they go straight to the press. What do you want? Our climate, general misuse and poor treatment of the cars for 20 yrs before most enthusiasts get them, does a number of things to a car. The price of good cars goes up as the nice ones get rustier, more beat, wrecked , and the junk ones get junkier. Not to mention the fact that RHD cars are worthless in Ontario as of recent times, driving the price up even further for clean LHD models and parts for them, as the clean RHD models are good for nothing now. Me taking apart someone’s hacked mess, unfinished project, drift gone bad or rust bucket doesnt raise or lower anything. The cars are 20+ yrs old. You arent paying $$$$$$ at the dealer or flying to cali for a car, something has to give. Don’t get into cars if you think the “scene” or “lifestyle” or “attitude” or “people” will be the same forever. People come and go, some come back, some dont. Some move onto better things, some are driving camry’s. It just seems that a few (maybe more than a few, lol) have a chip on their shoulder, a grudge, a “bone to pick” or even a hair to count with me, so be it. I take criticism with stride and confidence. I am sad that I cannot please everyone’s outlooks on “how it goes” or “how it should be”, being one man, I can only do so much to help who I can. If you don’t like me, I am sorry you feel that way. Sometimes looking at something from a negative perspective, even if it is a positive event, will return a negative response. Look at it from the other side, maybe you’ll see different. Maybe you wont?!
I have gotten so much help from other members of this board, this community and many many friends whom I have met through these cars, I wouldn’t trade anything for it.
lol at dylan shape ! my friend own’s the car now, and has swapped an sr20 into it… car isn’t mint by any mean’s it was bought for 750? lol was hacked together and barely ran… now it runs and drives grate.

I blame the rust buckets on the assholes who drove them off the lot back in 92 in mid January. Who’s with me! lol
It was kept together with negative overdraft! Heating bills up north where 800/month! Really wish i had the resources to keep that car. Had it krowned twice but ran out of money. But i will admit to the fuckery food or car makes you do what you need to do. MIIIIIIISSSSS that car soo much, like a big chunk of me is gone.
ALL the country bumkins got schooled by that car sooo badly, i would roost them with rusty tires when i saw them is the ditch, with the biggest smile on my face. OR just roost anyone if i was bored haha
