looking to purchase anywhere between 3-10 acres. mostly for recreational use. looking to stay within 2 hours of buffalo. might throw a small cabin on the land in a few years. does not need to have electric or water on the road. iv been looking online and i don’t really see much in the small amount of land I’m looking for. so if anyone here has acreage that would part with some or know someone selling let me know. Usually for shooting, you must be 500’ away from and roads or neighbors house/property

what type of rec use? My parents have 2 or 3 lots for sale with 4 acre zoning in the town of mendon…im thikning you want something a little more out in the middle of no where though

just to shoot a pistol or 2. maybe have somewhere to keep my ATV or snowmobile. not anything to crazy just able to get away for a day or 2 a few times a month
i see land forsale all the time on craigslist.
my grandpa has ~55 acres forsale on campbell and ~40 acres forsale on donner in pendleton. chunk on campbell is residential, on donner it is industrial. i imagine not what youre looking for though
I believe its 500’ from any occupied building/house you dont own or have permission to shoot close to (closer than 500’) and you cant shoot over a public road/highway (or shoot from a public road/highway) or in a village or city where discharging a firearm is illegal. Other than that I dont believe there are that many more regs in the countryside unless you are hunting.
yea not looking for that amount of acreage on the high side i want around 10 maybe a little less. the zoning for residential or industrial does not matter to me as long as the town lets the discharge of firearms
