Looks like we can add Denon to the Monster, Sony, Apple stuff

it’s about a means to an end. getting a nice stereo image and caring enough to figure out how to do it. finding a way to make a voice roll off realistically and smooth up top. getting noise from two speakers doesn’t take much effort or expense… but if you really care and enjoy then you end up on a quest to find what will work. sometimes it’s cheap, sometimes it’s expensive…

or you can just write off the whole thing as a waste of time and money… that’s the difference I’m talking about.

put into car terms… the first time you drive a car that gets to 60 in 6 seconds it feels fast… then you drive one that does it in 4 and 6 is now slow… but if you take somebody who just needs some milk, spending twice as much for 2 seconds is a foolish venture.
