well i somehow misplaced my land survey and i will be needing it for my new garage building permit. has anyone got a copy or duplicate land survey? how did you get it?

Check with the town first. If one was filed, they would have a copy. If not, your attorney or the seller’s attorney that did the closing will either have it or have access to it. I just went through this…
i waited on phone for 45min and no answer so i gave up on that one lol
The closing attorney/lawyer went bankrupt…lol how in the world did that happen?

Erie County… go down there. There is always one put on file with your deed when that gets filed when you buy a house.
Did you try the town building permit office?
Maybe they could suggest a way?
where is the building exactly? do i go to city hall? as you can see its my first time around the block with home owning
I also tried the building permit department, they said the only keep a copy of it if there was one on file. but there hasnt been one. so no luck with that one.

Do you know what company did the Survey when you bought your house? That’d be another place to contact.
I have no clue what company did the survey, I have to look through my closing documents to see if i can trace down or see who did the survey.

the attoney transfer all her file to some other company and referred me to them, now they are trying to located my file and hopefully its in there so i can get a copy of this bad boy!
