Driving to work today, I passed a dog all alone just sitting at the corner of Depew & Beard.
We took her to the Buffalo animal shelter (under "Depew / Beard) after giving her some food and water. I kept expecting someone to come running around the corner looking for her but then I noticed how malnourished she was. She was soaked, so obviously had been out all night, but i doubt it was her first night on the streets. She had a collar, but no tags.
She was super friendly, knew how to sit, kept trying to give me her paw, and just wanted to play even though she was obviously scared because her tail was between her legs most of the time.
Anyone recognize her? She is a beauty and I’d love to adopt her but my better half is saying no.
I’ve got it on facebook, a “pet alert” page, and twitter, but I know how many people on here live in North Buff, hopefully someone recognizes her.
it sounds like your the better half. hope someone gives that dog a good home if the owners don’t claim her. atleast you scooped her up and didn’t just drive by. good man
