i have bought alot of my parts from advance as long as you dont listen to them your fine.lol.

i second that, most of my parts come from there because they’re close to home and open late.
i heard the manager telling a guy on the phone there was no such thing as a timing belt tensioner, then he asked if the guy meant harmonic balancer… i giggled.
lol. i guy told me i couldnt use more than 1 foot of fuel prssure hose to fix my gas line.
Also had one argue with me that i couldnt get rid of the ac in my blazer. he told me i had to buy a new compreser.lol. said whatever and went to the junkyard picked up the pully and bought the belt from autozone.
I could keep going but i will leave it at that.
I walk in knowing what parts to buy, have them look them up and get them, never ask for advice or anything.
I bought 2 bottles of gumout engine cleaner and injector whatever cleaner and said i was gonna put it in my car.
He was like you cant use both of them in one tank, I was like well it will just clean better.
Simple Green takes care of CV grease pretty good too. I’ve had a few fly off in the higher rpms and shit grease everywhere. BTW, I think that piece hanging down is the clamp/ring that holds the boot to the bearing cup, or its the piece of rubber that goes onto the bearing cup WITH the retainer ring on it.
Not to hard, remove the caliper, caliper bracket, rotor, CV axle nut, pop the tie rod out of the spindle, turn the wheel, smack the CV into the spindle and hopefully it’ll slide out towards the trans. Get the slider hammer tool, crowbar, prybar, ect., and pop the CV out of the trans. Replace in reverse. ![ ](https://nyspeed.ltcmp.net/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=5)
