lowering springs on shocks

ok so after i take my suspesion out im putting on new lowering springs that are comming sometime this week

how do i take the old springs of the shock?

i assume to put on aftermarket springs would be the exact opposite

are there any special tools i need? ex spring compressor or w.e, or can i use something else?

Spring compressors are the only good way to do it. You have to compress the springs. If you’re too cheap to go borrow a set from Canadian Tire for free… then I’ll leave it up to you how you want to compress the springs.

i just borrow one from CT when i need one there crappy compressors but they work i’ll see you wedensday anyway

i can do them for you, and i have a set of spring compressors.

maybe…i may just rent the compressors my friend kyle knows how and im pretty smart so i think ill be able to do it
