LS1>5.0

New stang does not suck.

The new Mustang is nice… but it’s a Ford for $30k.

Or you could buy a Chevy for 79k…

yea but thats tuned by Howard Tanner himself!

Like having a ford is a bad thing lol. They surpassed Toyota in quality last year, thats sayin somethin! Ford has com a long ways in the past few years.

Easy with that. Lexus leads, and who makes Lexus.

Lexus leads the overall nameplate rankings, averaging 84 PP100. This is the 12th time Lexus has been the highest-ranked brand in the 20 years it has been included in the IQS and the first time since 2005.

The Toyota Motor Corporation assembly plant in Higashi-Fuji, Japan, receives the Platinum Plant Quality Award for producing vehicles yielding the fewest defects and malfunctions. Averaging just 29 PP100, the plant produces the Lexus SC 430 and Toyota Corolla. (Plant awards are based solely on average levels of defects and malfunctions and exclude design-related problems.)

Oh no doubt Lexus’ are probably more quality than Ford, and Id sure hope so!! lol

All cars suck.

this

poop

compared to a used C6 Z06 for the same price, it does suck!

There is not a lot of difference between a L99 and a LS3. Mostly active fuel management…

Consumer reports suggest that GM and Chrysler surpassed Toyota in quality as well. I believe its government propaganda to increase sales for the companies they bailed out. Gotta protect your poor investments. That’s why we have garages and insurance.

We all know the Camaro is obscenely heavy compared to the new mustang. That’s a huge advantage for Ford that already has GM working on a gen 6 platform on a traditionally smaller platform with much less steel in the body structure. It is impressive what Ford is doing with the 5.0 considering GMs engines are 6.2L or more and some of them are supercharged.

Used C6Z’s are still 38-40K.

Not 30K.

Cam, lifters, cam phaser, heads, etc. Plenty different. RPM is limited on the L99 due to lifter design as well.

For the most part yes, but can be found for 36K, which is a no brainier decision vs. a Mustang GT.

Yeah, a higher mileage car, thats more than likely been whooped on, costs more to insure, and only has 2 seats for 5K+ more than a BRAND new car. Lolz

Ill take the Gt

This. Sure, the vette will be faster around a track, but it’ll cost more to own, and is far less practical.

whaaaaaaaat did you just say ADAM?!?!?!

:rofl
