So looks like they may be pushing out the Australian version of the upcoming GTO/Grand Prix replacement, the G8, with an LS7 in it. If they do, I’d expect it to come to America as well, probably as a G8 GXP. 4-door Z06 anyone?
Well I’ll believe it when I see it.

125k for a GM vehicle??? I hope that price is WAYYYYY off. is that US currency???
thats in australia. They were complaining about M5’s being 250k, so figure half the price of one of those. Probably like 40k.
Australian Dollars arent that far off. Its .87 to one USD

yeah but they price the cars a lot higher over there. Like it said, an M5 is 250,000 there, which is 185k US. The holden Monaro was the equivalent of 60k US when the GTO came out for 34.
yeah, awesome idea and motortrend compared it to the last gen M5, but with Bush’s new MPG proposal, I’m sure there isn’t room for any more gas guzzlers. It has to weigh a lot more than the corvette.
Sweet. Gunna make it hard for me to justify paying $50K+ for a Cadillac when that goes on sale.
those rims really stand out.
that front end looks like a euro ford focus.
but i likey. aussies get some cool shit.
very nice… I can’t wait to see the new G8’s. My only gripe with them is the name though… should of just kept the commodore name IMO. “G8” just sounds too plain/bland
