LSD for 98 S14?

Does anyone know that if the S15 LSD will fit into the S14?

I looked up the KAAZ cataloge and the different models have different part number.

S13 open diff DAN2620
94-96 S14 open diff DAN2620
94-96 S14 viscous diff DAN2625
96-98 S14 open diff DAN2620
96-98 S14 viscous dif DAN 2745

Anyone knows what the differences?

correct me if im wrong but i belive the only difference is that you order the open diff one if your car is an open diff prior to the purchase, and you buy a viscous if you have the Vlsd, does that answer your question??

I think what he’s asking is if a S15 LSD will work in a S14 Pumpkin,

Check FA, IIRC there was some How to: on how to do it…

s14 and s15 rear subframe are identical… the rear pumpkin between s14 and s15 should more or less be the same. s15 lsd is helical lsd and the speed sensor is at the diff, not on the tranny, that’s as far as i know

The S15 HLSD will fit into a S14 pumpkin. They’re all R200, therefore interchangable. The output shafts might be different though.
