i don’t understand lsd’s. i see some kaaz units that work on both manual and auto vehicles, but quaife mostly on manuals.
why is that? and what do i need to know if i want to research swapping in an lsd from another vehicle? what do i need to spec…what will bum me out?

because they are too lazy to make one for autos…i dunno…
Unless the auto and manual trannies use the same diff, chances are Quaife won’t make one for the auto. Usually no market for one.
As for swapping diffs from another model…good luck. Take tons of measurements of everything. Chances are very good you won’t find one to work.
what kind of car are we talking about ? if its FWD it could be very costly to modify a LSD to fit (or costly to swap in a trans that you can get an lsd for)
i would have loved to get a LSD for my SHO but at 800 bucks on top of the $3200 price tag i passed
