should the degas(overflow) bottle have a vent?
there are 2 lines, one to tb and where does the other go???
it was capped, the car was having issues, I made it a vent and made 2 other changes and it went from running 250-260 to running about 130 LOL
LT1 coolant overflow? IT should have 1 line, to the top of the radiator…?
And the coolant line to the throttle body can be bypassed…

dont you need to delete the egr and block the heat riser to do the coolant bypass effectively?
even w/one line, isn’t there a vent incase it boils over and to exchange air, but w/ a seal or check valve to maintain 15psi in the system?
it did have a huge air pocket in it and the I had to use channel locks to get the cap off the degas bottle, I thought the neck was gonna snap off it was so tight
its a fresh spunger motor :tup: its pretty strong now that I’ve straightened out a few issues, it was installed by someone else, not paul or me
Nope, the TB bypass just removes the coolent from the TB; don’t have to do anything else.
