Bypass valve = blow-off valve
… they both operate on the same principle - they vent the pressurized intake charge to prevent compressor surge. All blow off valves can work as divertor vavles, and vice versa with the correct flanges/adaptors. 
Good deal on the EGT gauge though :bigthumb: It included the actual sensor and sender unit, right?
