Anyone have a hookup/discount on lumber? I’m building a covered patio within the next few weeks…could pay in cash if needed.
Or anyone know the cheapest place, someone told me 84 lumber has decent prices.
Stick with Guis Lumber. Did better for me than 84 ever did.
I always go to Niemic Builders Supply on Grant their shit is much nicer/straighter than HD.
Not sure where else; but I do know Lowes will do 10%-20% off if you order it through the contractors desk, all depends on how much you spend. I got 15% off when I did my fence (~$3300 in materials).
I did talk with them when i was there and they will knock off 10%, only need $6-700 in lumber.
That being said, after that 10% discount at Lowes they are beating out Guis Lumber and 84 lumber by almost a $1-2 a board…which adds up
HD 2x4’s are cheap, but it takes forever to dig through the pile and find straight ones. For this amount, it would be more trouble than it’s worth.
Sounds like lowes is the best option. I’ve had good luck with Lowes lumber selection.
