actually its not hard to go around road tracks it just takes practice like drag racing. you can slowly get faster at road racing cause you dont have to constantly push the limits of your car if you choose not to. hence why ive seen 60 year old cars that handle like dog shit going around the track fine

or be like danas dad and be older than dirt, buy a Formula Ford, get licensed, and go win the divisional title first year out, and have all the veterans hate you because youre faster and a rookie :lol

this is just a debate over which is harder, obviously there is no right or wrong answer, your obviously taking the side of road racing because you road race, and you should stick to that. Ive drag raced adam a few times and i highly doubt you are a better drag racer then he is, he is honestly the most consistant guy i’ve ever faced, stick the the corners and we’ll stick to the straights

So cutting consistent .0xx trees, and clocking off 2.0 60 foot times in a FWD car isn’t good huh? Funny I think you guys might want to drive other types of cars before you assume anything. Not to mention in the past 20 years i think i probably have cut more trees at the dragstrip than any of you. That includes the other 15 dragstrips available on the east coast.
What none of you seem to get is…that i live motorsports, I auto-x, I dragrace, I pro-solo, I do time trials, I do HPDE driver events and have done a road rally or two. I’m fucking scandinavian and love to slide a audi quattro on back country roads. I can even ride a fucking motorcycle wahoo!, So to say stick with the turns and you’ll stick to the straights. I don’t think so…I’ll stick to being a disciplined driver thank you.

i wish i could cut a 2.0 on street tires in my car :headbang then again i only have made 7 passes in my car

paul man i havent seen you get angry about many things… FWD is tough to cut good 60s with and a 2.0 on street tires on the stock turbo on a 1.8t is tough, for what they are, they make alot of torque down low, peak torque is like 1800rpm in those cars. and with a 225 street tire it is pretty hard, id kill for 2.0s from my car

My car had 300hp and was 3500lbs, on street tires. I have driven MANY fwd cars with more power than yours and the key os tire/suspension obviously to get them to hook. So dont assume i dont know how to drive a fwd car because i prefer i rwd platform.

Again your showing your ignorance to the laws of physics and weight transfer. FWD, unless heavily modified front suspension OR slicks, will not cut a good 60 foot…Why you ask?.. because of fucking physics dumbass!
