M-B or Volvo or Audi ??

Well I have a new job, live in a new city, so I figure I mind as well buy a new car.

I’m looking for something that is a better DD then my cam’d vette. (Targa Top)

These are the cars I’m currently looking at in order of Best to Worst choice in my eyes.

Best:
Volvo s60R
M/B c320 AMG
Audi S4 V8
M/B c55 AMG
Pontiac G8
Pontiac GTO - 2 door but super cheap
Legacy GT
Acura TL type-S
Worse:

My price range is about 20-30K, but the lower the initial cost, the more I will allow myself to mod the car.

IE:
Volvo S60R ~
25K + chip + exhaust + etc.

C55 amg
35K + nothing

GTO
15K + blower

I do not want any car that is a 2 door or drop top.(Unless otherwise convinced).
Will also consider different cars, AKA Marauder / Trailblazer SS.

and why the fuck are you going to mod your DD… you already have a vette (drag/track) you don’t need another modded car IMO

The M3 looks good and what not, I guess I would have to test drive one.

The M5 looks too outdated in my eyes for my price range.

Yes this would be my new DD, but as of now I’m driving a ~450hp cam’d vette as a DD, so the mods to this new DD wouldn’t be substantial in my eyes.

Mods would be limited to:
Chip
Exhaust
Intake
Pulley
Minor things

Volvo S60R with Evolve mods ~ 350+ hp = :slight_smile: 12s 4 door daily
C320 AMG = 349hp
M3= 333hp
M5 = 400hp

G8 with 100k mile warranty for a DD > 5 year old BMW that is expensive as hell to fix.
