Eh, I just didn’t like it for internet browsing and doing a report/paper for school.

Maybe it was because I wasn’t used to it.

I still have yet to find something I can do on my mac that I can’t do on my PC

Lets see you select text in a window, and create a new text file with that text in it, without using the keyboard and not making more than one mouse click… (not that it should convince you that mac’s are better, but its the non-obvious IU enhancements that you learn over time with a mac that really make the difference).

I think dashboard is just awesome, I have about 10 widgets in mine that have improved my efficiency with certain stuff 10x.

Expose is cool, I know there are similar apps on a PC, but I have NEVER seen one work as smooth and reliably as the apple expose.

Spotlight is awesome, nuff said.

spotlight is awesome, and until live search i felt like there was no comparison.

but live search in vista is pretty decent

edit: also about the keyboard shortcuts you’re right, I don’t know any of them on the mac and it kills me. for people that know all of them it is very efficient.

Spotlight is awesome yes, but i hear microshaft’s live search is basically the same thing…

And yep, the shortcuts are huge… if you dont know them, it can be rough…

the new iMac is absolutely gorgeous. Hell of a screen too, and great hardware to back it up.

I was gaming last night on my MacBook Pro - halflife2 (even the lost coast / HDR mod) runs great even at full quality / 1920x1200

If you have a mac laptop you MUST get quicksilver. As a program launcher, it’s fucking amazing.
