i’m new to this town and kinda was wondering whether or not it matters what kind of car i drive… i know that’s probably the stupidest question in the world but hey… i’d rather ask too much than not enough.
don’t bother apparently it does matter since the car is a direct reflection of the person driving it
give it up.
I could care less about who shows up for a show, but 9/10 once the imports come, every fuckstick with a cavalier/civic/talon and a stereo thinks he can come do burnouts and play his steroe ridicously loud and annoy everyone. Let the car shows with old cars alone and start your own cruise with the ricers that are sure to follow.
redneck= just thought i would say , just because somebody is playing their music loud does not mean that they’re trying to annoy people. Besides a cruise is supp to be for anyone or anytype of car. I’ve lots of friends with cavaliers,civics etc who dont do any of those things.

like I said, start a car cruise with imports and let the classic shows alone. But be prepared for the ricer invasion that will follow.

I agree with 77rednecktruck on this one. Car cruises should be left to the nice cars, not the rice cars. If you have a clean (read, non riced out) newer car, it should be there too.
Your perspective might be that, but I fucking hate the type of music you listen to (btw: what do you listen to?) and don’t want to hear it. Leave the big stereo shit out. A car show is about cars you don’t see driving around all day, not loud annoying stereo’s, vinyl graphics, 4"exhausts on a n/a 4-banger, etc…
weaves - I don’t like the newer cars at classic car shows. start your own. I hate going somewhere for a “classic car show and cruise” and seeing a stock 2003 sunbird with a stereo, wing, and exhaust.

I agree with 77, unless you have something that is worthy of being at a show, dont come invade it with your rice.
I’m all for shows being segmented into domestic and import, and like, i dunno, 90 and older and 91 and newer…
Nothing is worse than looking at a beautiful Mustang, a beautiful GTO, a gorgeous 68 C10, then a 1998 Integra with a primer body kit and ugly wheels.

when the title stats…CLASSIC car cruise…no fucking idito with a car over 1985 should be there…leave it to the old muscle cars and classic sport cars!! like Stangs, F-bodys, Vettes, cudas, etc.
now if it says car cruise then yes…anyone can come…new/old muscle cars…new/old sports cars…and whatever else u want to bring…but i hate seeing cars that are riced out!!! but like 1320 or bluemeanies car…those cars are nice at a car show…no huge wing no stickers, etc…
but yes…i hate hearing cars with systems at car curise-ins wiht there system loud as hell so u cant even hear the person next to talk about a car!!!
Yeah, if it specifically states “CLASSIC car show/cruise/whatever” then of course not. I’m talking about ones that just say “Car Cruise”.
If a car show doesn’t say classic, I usually won’t go because it gets run over by ricers. I could care less.
I personally do not like newer cars in general and don’t want to see them at a show, but that’s just my opinion. If I goto a car show, I want to see cars I do not see driving around on a daily basis.

Details please! I love English cars. Not many people understand my “Lucas - Prince of Darkness” t-shirt with the three way switch saying off - dimmer - flicker. Why do the English drink warm beer? Because Lucas makes refrigerators.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about - English cars have crap for electrical systems. I have a couple of friends that have restored Rolls and I hope to do one one day. My pop’s still kicks himself that he passed on a Healey about a year ago.
