What is a normal price on this type of car? I would appreciate your opinion before purchase. I in no way am gloating but repsect your individual opinions.
^ Yeah but Cal, you know straight up they’re going for more than that…
I agree with Cal on what I’d actually be willing to pay for a 14 year old sports car, but market would probably bear a price closer to $5000, still stock KA I assume, since it wasn’t specified…
^^ that’s what my mathematics say also. I wish I could be on of the people that gets a deal on car in barn, mint with 3000km but I think this is as close as I’ll get for now. Thanks guys, please feel free to comment.
I don’t think its crazy actually Samson. According to the books these cars obviously aren’t worth much, and we all know how well car depreciation value goes, but as for S14’s they seem to have held there value pretty well for such aged cars. It’s only been until now that they’ve only slightly come down in price to the 4 digit range. I remember in '07 when I was looking for an S13 I found numerous S14’s with such a high value over their roofs.
Market value and the assigned value from the government are usually pretty close, its for cars that have a particular cap on production like koukis or IS300 sportdesigns that usually cause this irregularity in value. as for older cars like 240s, catalysts like drifting is probably the reason s13s and s14s are so unreasonably high right now.
