If there is someone here that has said car I may need to borrow your time and car for about 20 minutes. I have to pull the odometer reading off my stock cluster and would just need to swap my cluster into your car for a minute to do so.
I no longer have the ability to plug a stock cluster into my car as I have something a little be different going on. I do need my ODO number though for inspection purposes.
Didn’t quite think this through before cutting and soldering today
Yeah, and if I accidentally type in a number that’s lower than what it was from last inspection it’ll trip red flags and fuck my friend. And since the place I have my car inspected is a good friend and a friend of others here…I have absolutely no idea what it was when it was last inspected.
Yes sir I can help you with that. Well, here’s the deal. I have two 04’s, and a wreck 03. I have the 03 ECU in my 04, as well as an 02-03 cluster. Anyway, with all of this nonsense going on, I live close to you, and clusters come out in a matter of 30 seconds.
You should also be able to get an inspection report printed from the machine the vehicle was previously inspected on unless the records clear every so many months. I also think there is an option on the inspection machine for “broken odometer”
Because I figured I’d ask a fellow car owner if they had the time to shoot on over to the shop and take two minutes to swap the clusters and pay them for their time?
Apparently you have more free time during the day at your fab/work shop, than I do spread across mine :thumbup
BTW, you’re friend came earlier than expected to grab the trailer. Left sans plate, and sans lights…apparently unknowing the trailer was a seven wire at the plug…
apparently your retarded. it takes a minute and a half to apply power and write down a number. why would you go through the trouble of even taking the time to post this when it would have taken half the time to get your odometer reading. your such a goober.:retardclap
