Bullshit… they would still give you the value of the car. Just not the $ for the mods.
Phail.

try telling that to e-surance
First time I read that. Did they really need to know it was modded? Chances are they wouldnt have known if everything was melted anyway.
this is true…
when I bought my SS and went to go get insurance pictures taken I had to fill out a extra sheet for “modifications”…filled the sheet out. When I handed it to the lady she said any mods I do to the car after the pictures unless I call and add them to my insurance plan, they wont be covered but the cost of the car would.
:nod
Didn’t Travis even say he didn’t have insurance on it at the time of the inferno? Someone search for the old thread, I am almost positive that was the case.
Thats how I thought it worked. My insurance company has no clue my car isnt stock and they dont have a reason to know its not. They havent seen my car in over 2 years and alot has changed since then and more is changing real soon.
e-surance apparently didnt work like that… had gap on the loan too… soo who knows/cares
I read it only had liability which is ALL you need to have a car on the road.
:rofl
I don’t need to watch what I say to you, you’re some trash, piece of shit who no one has respect for. Also, on the “libel issues” comment, you should be the one worried, I’m not going to go further into that though. :aww
Even then, after it burned down, wouldn’t they (obviously) total it out and give him the value of the car?
26 y/o’s don’t change jobs too often, and when they do it’s normally a promotion. I haven’t experienced life yet? Your life, no, I haven’t, and I don’t plan to.
And I have PLENTY of free time, I’m not working 50hrs/week at each job…
Anything else you have on me besides being young (since when is youth a bad thing?) and for being stupid for donating money to you??
BTW, I’m leaving right now to go to work and pick up a paycheck… irony?
I think that only falls under a accident situation…
not sure tho
No, liability only covers other people’s property. Comprehensive is needed for fire.
But… if he had a loan on the car, don’t you need comprehensive? I thought you couldn’t have the basic insurance if you have a loan out on the car.
yah thats it!
no, you only need liability.
hahaha… no really joey… please… go further in depth…im dying to hear what you have to say.
Ok, im not sure if the law is the same here as it is in NJ, but if you buy a car with a bank loan and the bank is holding the title untill the loan is paid back, then it is the LAW that you must have the maximum full coverage insurance on the car untill the loan is paid…
Usually you need collision and full coverage. I know I need it on my Hyundai because Ive got a loan out on it.
ya that’s what I thought, because technically the bank owns the car, not you.
